UC Santa Cruz Foundation

The UC Santa Cruz Foundation celebrated a milestone event this year, our 50th anniversary! Throughout that time, the foundation has worked in partnership with campus leadership to advance philanthropy that fosters student success, excellence in teaching, and impactful research and discovery that benefit local and global communities. The foundation and its trustees have, among other things, provided seed grants for emerging programs and research areas, supported students’ access to basic needs, and helped fund the launch of the Baskin School of Engineering.

The success of the foundation depends on philanthropy from many. As the fiduciaries overseeing the funds given to UC Santa Cruz, my fellow trustees and I would like to thank the friends, families, foundations, corporations, and others who have given to the campus over the years. Your contributions have helped establish the campus as a global research university committed to student success and access. With your continued support, there are no limits on what our students, faculty, and staff can achieve.  

Our dedication to UC Santa Cruz and its community remains unwavering. As supporters and advocates of the campus, the UC Santa Cruz Foundation and its trustees look forward to continuing to be responsible financial stewards and partners for change for the next 50 years and beyond.
